The board at Freedom Square included such phrases as "Hitler was right," "With Jews you lose" and "Fascism just do it." Photos of the slurs were also circulated on social media.
In a letter to a concerned parent, Towson Vice President of Student Affairs Deb Moriarty wrote that the university acted swiftly when it was made aware of the slurs.
Moriarty wrote that the Student Government Association immediately removed the messages and requested that university police investigate the matter and have a presence in that area.
